November 2008
Invitation to the Seminar “Australian Education System: Cooperation opportunities with the City of Buenos Aires”
We were invited by the General Department of Foreign Comerse of the City of Buenos Aires to the Seminar “Australian Education System: Cooperation opportunities with the City of Buenos Aires”, that was held at the Fundación Standard Bank.
In Australia, Spanish is the language that is growing faster in the number of people who are studying it nowadays.
Expoberlin 21st edition
AACELE has been regularly taking part in Expo Berlin. This year, it took place on November 14-16. This time, and with the purpose of making our country and the quality of our Spanish schools known to the rest of the world, AACELE's schools made a rifle among those who were interested.
Congratulations to the winners, and thanks to all those who found our proposal interesting!

AACELE in Canada
The fair received more than 4,500 visitors, and 400 of them came to our stand. They were between 25 and 30 years of age. Most of them showed great interest in our culture and the tango.
September 2008
Invitations
AACELE continues with activities and presentations in fairs held abroad in order to help Spanish as a Foreign Language in Argentina to be known in the rest of the world. This time, our association was invited by Canada. The fair will be held in September http://www.goabroadfair.ca/
AACELE was invited by the INPROTUR to submit a plan for 2009 with respect to the promotion of Spanish as a Foreign Language. At present, different possibilities are being analyzed.

Training
AACELE cooperates with SBS Argentina Bookstores on their workshops for teachers of Spanish as a Foreign Language.

Agreement
AACELE has signed an institutional cooperation agreement with the Universidad Abierta Interamericana (UAI). Through said agreement, both entities agree to work jointly on the growth of Spanish as a Second Language.
Universidad Abierta Interamericana was founded in 1995. It is part of "VANEDUC", entities that since 1942 are dedicated to teaching and research on education. It is member of the Asociación Universitaria Iberoamericana de Postgrado, and is accredited by National and International non-governmental associations in education, among which we can find: ADEEPRA (Asociación de Entidades Educativas Privadas Argentinas), FAEPLA (Federación de Asociaciones Educativas de Latinoamérica y el Caribe), COMEP (Confederación Mundial de Enseñanza Privada) http://www.vaneduc.edu.ar/uai

Conference
Students of Tourism from the Universidad de Morón organized a debate on Language Tourism. AACELE was invited to deliver a speech on the topic.

Fair
